Michael joined CRC Oyster in 2023 as Chief Revenue Officer and, as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, leads the firm’s revenue strategy, execution, and go-to-market approach.
A financial services professional with technical rigor and commercial instinct in equal measure, he has built a career spanning compliance leadership, portfolio management, and institutional relationship management; he has sat on every side of the table his clients occupy. Before CRC Oyster, Michael served as Principal, Chief Compliance Officer, and Investment Committee member at Nest Egg, a digital advice platform built for financial institutions, where he oversaw the firm’s integration with regional and community bank partners and served as CCO for its investment adviser and broker-dealer. Concurrently, he spent twelve years as a Portfolio Manager and Investment Committee member at Addison Capital, a boutique $1Bx` investment adviser, leading institutional partnerships and serving regional and community banks as their outsourced Chief Investment Officer. Earlier in his career, Michael held roles at Fisher Investments and Citigroup Smith Barney.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maryland, College Park, and maintains Series 3, 6, 24, 51, 62, 63, 65, and 99 securities licenses.
