Charlene’s depth of experience is simply difficult to replicate. After a distinguished 35-year career at PNC Financial Services Group – where she served as the designated FINOP for PNC’s numerous broker-dealers, managed month-end close for over 30 subsidiaries, oversaw budget preparation, audited internal departments, and led a team of more than ten employees – she retired in 2013.
Retirement proved short-lived; her expertise was too valuable to stay on the sidelines, and she joined CRC Oyster in 2018. A licensed FINOP for over 25 years, Charlene brings comprehensive command of FOCUS report filings, reserve formula computations, financial statement preparation, general ledger oversight, and direct interaction with FINRA and SEC regulators and external auditors across both retail and institutional, fully disclosed and self-clearing firms. She currently serves on the FINRA Series 27/28 Qualification Examination Committee, a testament to the regard in which she is held across the industry.
Charlene holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Robert Morris University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and was a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania for over 30 years.
