Jonathan directs the firm’s Broker-Dealer Application Team (BDAT), leading all New Membership Application (NMA) and Continuing Membership Application (CMA) engagements – complex, high-stakes undertakings that demand exactly the diligence, regulatory depth, and steady presence he brings to them.
A member of the CRC Oyster Leadership Team, he joined the firm in 2022, pairing expertise and work ethic with an ability to lead with both precision and levity. His perspective is rare in this space: before CRC Oyster, he served as Application Manager within FINRA’s Membership Application Program (MAP), overseeing a team of examiners reviewing the very filings he now helps firms prepare – NMAs, CMAs, Materiality Consultations, Two Principal Waiver requests, and Membership Agreement Change requests. He began his FINRA tenure as a cycle exam program examiner, and earlier in his career supervised a team of ten attorneys handling complex mortgage-backed securities litigation as a securities attorney at a New York City law firm.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Siena College and a Juris Doctor from Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law.
