Dave brings more than 30 years of experience in operations, risk, vendor management, relationship management, and correspondent services, and has been with the firm since 2021.
Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships at Truist, and before that as Managing Director at Clearview Correspondent Services and First Vice President at First Clearing Corporation, a career arc that has taken him through hundreds of correspondent conversions and several major brokerage firm mergers. Dave has led vendor contracting and clearing contract negotiations for both self-clearing and fully disclosed arrangements, served as Executive Sponsor for BB&T Securities’ T+1 initiative, and oversaw business continuity and disaster recovery programs, including the planning and execution of mock exercises and live DR events. He has served on multiple firm committees spanning risk management, credit, foreign exchange, and vendor management, and has touched virtually every corner of the correspondent clearing business.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech and maintains Series 7, 63, and 99 securities licenses.
